As a student at Hawaii Preparatory Academy, you will have access to resident teachers seven days a week, to indoor tennis and student recreation centers, to a swimming pool designed for international, collegiate, and high school competition, to full visual and performing arts facilities, to a 100 percent wireless computer campus. You will be challenged by our very rigorous academic program which includes 15 Advanced Placement courses in the Upper School. The multinational students live, learn, and play in the midst of the world's most diverse ecosystem. Our unique location offers amazing access to activities found together nowhere else on earth, see below examples of activities:

Scuba diving with scientists to study Hawaiian sea turtles.

Learning to ride horses on our 220-acre Upper School campus.

Surfing before school in the morning, and visiting an active volcano in the same afternoon.

Hiking steep rainforest hills and remote black sand beaches.

Academic and Sport Facilities

Each building is a different subject, there is a chapel, art building (ceramics, photography, drawing, painting), robotics building, performing arts theatre seating 375, music building with 2 private practice rooms, information technology building with 3 computer labs.

4 covered tennis courts, heated outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub, track, gymnasium, wrestling room, numerous fields for equestrian, football, soccer, etc.

Dormitories and School Residences

There are 3 dorms on campus. 2 students to a dorm room with internet access, one phone with voice mail, laundry facilities, room with sink and microwave, showering facility, a common area with TV/DVD and fireplace, 5 apple computers with printer.
